Arcane Tourneys
Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct applies to Arcane Tourneys events, our Discord server, our streams, and any other space we run.
01Respect Everyone
Treat players, moderators, staff and viewers with respect. Competitive trash talk between willing participants is part of esports; targeting, demeaning or hounding a person is not.
This applies equally to staff. Staff are held to the same standard and are not exempt from this Code.
02Prohibited Behaviour
The following are not permitted in any Arcane Tourneys space:
- Hate speech, discrimination, or slurs of any kind
- Harassment, sexual harassment, threats, stalking, doxxing, or targeted abuse
- Content involving minors in a sexual context, sexually explicit content, or illegal content
- Violent threats against any person
- Spam, phishing, scams, impersonation, malicious links, or unsolicited advertising
- Sharing another person's private information without their consent
- Disrupting Discord operations, streams, scorekeeping, or matches
Never share account credentials. Arcane Tourneys staff will never ask for your game or platform password, your two-factor authentication codes, or any account recovery code. Anyone who asks is not acting for Arcane Tourneys - report it through the support channel immediately.
03Raising a Problem
If you disagree with a staff decision, raise it through the designated private dispute process described in the Competition Rules. Public pile-ons, mass pings and harassment of staff are themselves violations of this Code and will be handled as such.
If you are being harassed, or you see someone else being harassed, contact staff through the support channel. Reports are handled privately.
04Enforcement
Depending on what happened and how serious it was, a violation may result in:
- Warning
- Mute or temporary removal from a channel
- Removal from an event
- Score adjustment or disqualification
- Suspension or permanent ban from the Arcane Tourneys platform and events
Actions are taken proportionate to the conduct. Appeals follow the process in the Competition Rules.
